OLD WORLD INSPIRED, UNMISTAKABLY WASHINGTON
At J. Bell Cellars we produce small lots of single varietals and blends with fruit from the Yakima Valley’s most acclaimed vineyards. We employ traditional cellar techniques, fermenting and aging in oak, unfined, unfiltered, and blended to bring you something truly incredible.
Our Walla Walla Syrah begins with blackberry, fruit leather, fig and peppery notes. Followed with deep flavors of plum and chocolate it wraps up with a smooth smokey finish.
This wine leads with a luscious red fruit forward nose with hints of pepper, slight floral fragrance and sweet dark cherries. Supple flavors of boysenberry, dried cranberry, savory spices and anise flood the palette, with a bright finish of lingering leather, graphite, and dried herbs.
Tart cherry, bell pepper and fresh mint on the nose come through in the mouth as flavors of stone fruit, red pepper and dried strawberry. With a nice amount of acid and lingering tannins, the finish on this wine is full and enjoyable.
